For a moment she was stiff when Tegan's arm wrapped about her. Then she heaved for breath. She thought Tegan had left with the family, believing in Sandy's excuse she was hanging back to take a shower.

"I... I'm so tried. And... it's just all... it feels everything I've been doing was for nothing."
