There's a yoga studio in Diamond Castle, of course. Silas is a devotee, and that means that yoga has a higher profile than it did before he became King and she became Ace (and Jack, before that). She's not using it today, though. It's become the kind of place where people look for her.

So instead she's in one of the few remaining empty rooms in Diamond Castle, in Pincha Mayurasana. She's simultaneously singing, though, which is probably not the most zen-like thing to do. Especially when it's Mickey.

She probably doesn't care, though.

"He's your father."

Which, really, is what it boils down to. She could have tried to be Rachel's family, and she had. She could have even succeeded in a way, but she couldn't replace the one she'd grown up with.

"You're supposed to miss him. I miss mine, sometimes, and I go home once a week for dinner."

It's a tired sort of smile, now-- interacting with or even thinking about Caleb has largely been exhausting for all these years-- but she still smiles.

"Let's just hope he feels the same."

Sometimes she thinks he's just humouring an injured woman.

Maybe he thinks she's humoring an old man. It's possible.

Avery just smiles, though, and shrugs. "Hope is about all we can do."

"At least it's something."

It's the something that's always left when there's nothing else-- it's about the only thing she (barely) had left after the incident with the Magician.

It's enough to get them through.
