It is necessary for new players to post at least one comment with the card-muse's journal here, so we can send you an invitation to join the comm (if you haven't sent a request to join already). :D

(Of course, this does not apply to those who already contacted the mods via the original MMV post ;] )

Please, before you post anything, check the Taken Cards list. We only want a single King, Queen, Jack and Ace per suit! It is okay if there are doubles of the number cards, though.
Just, be reasonable: we do not need the 9 of Spades thrice when we do not have the 9 of Diamonds once. ;)

This is also the place to ask for help when it comes to stuff like finding a PB or coming up with a personality for a character.

Awwsome! We've been eagerly anticipating a King of Clubs. There is, however, going to need to be a slight delay in your actual direct involvement in the community.

Currently, the plot we've put together to like... jumpstart the game... involves the assassination of "Andrew" who is the NPC King of Clubs at the moment,. His death will leave a political void that your character would then be free to step into. But... to get to that point, we need to get to the masquerade in which all of this is going to happen. Please feel free to follow the action as we get to it, though!

Also, if you have any questions, I'm Jordan and you can contact me in AIM and endlesslythyme or just PM me through this account. I'll respond to you asap :)

(Side note: This post here (http://acethatmatters.livejournal.com/991.html) has links to essentially all the character interactions that have taken place thus far, which would give you some idea of how things are working thus far. ...this is super late to the party, but I just noticed the fancy new layout on the profile page (swank!) and thought my ten cents about the Clubs might be throw into the mix-able. What's been weirdly striking about Eileen, Lancelot, Elani and Andrew to me (and about what I've read of Alexander so far) is the preeminence of loyalty and a protracted sense of Justice/Moral Rightness/What Have You. They all seem to orient toward the idea of the importance of trust/unity in the Suit with variant levels of interpersonal/court-dedicated dogged loyalty to the important persons.

It's been kicking around in my head, is all, and hopefully is faintly helpful?

I created this character with this comm in mind! Her name is Desirée, while her mun doesn't share her name too easily. Desirée is a 7 of Diamonds (if that suits everyone?)

She is calm and poised most of the time but is also prone to (slightly) rebellious moments. I'm still working on her profile and icons.
