So at the ball, Säde and Urania had a little talk about Leigh and her weird little quirks. And Milo was duly consulted the day after. And Leigh got tentatively diagnosed with face-blindness and she's freaking out now. (Forward-dating this a wee bit because it's not Wednesday for most people. Sorry.)

Also she'll be going on hiatus soon, because an Internet test isn't really the best way to diagnose a condition like that completely and Milo's nowhere near qualified or knowledgeable about it. Hence she'll be going off-Deck (accompanied by some faceless Two or Three unless any other Diamond wants to volunteer? :D) to get a proper diagnosis. Säde's not going because she's got work. Feel free to guilt her about this.

Alternately, Ben is available for escorting and probably being endlessly charming. It's what he does. :|

Endless charm will probably put her more at ease. Though I don't think they've actually met yet... hmm! Or he might have, but only in passing so she doesn't remember him properly?

It might've just been in passing, yes. He is also tall, but would likely do his best to put her at ease. He probably has practice at it, being an ex-cop who's dealt with hurt kids before.

Säde wouldn't see any problem with him escorting her. Leigh, on the other hand, will be completely paralysed at the prospect of going somewhere unknown *and* alone with a tall dude she doesn't know. But it might be chalked up to denial of what she's been diagnosed with...

Aww, poor Leigh. I think Ben would be able to figure out pretty quickly in the trip that Leigh was not just panicked over the diagnosis but generally freaked out by him and do his best to alleviate that.
