Finally- finally- work is down to a level where she'd consider herself able to leave the rest to others. Stress relief is called for.

She lifts a hand to Piper's cheek to pinch it, smiling affectionately. "Of course bad words. Unless you want it to storm. You don't want that, do you?"

"Sparkly!" No, no, not her cheek~! She shakes her head quickly, grinning. "Storms are awful and Not At All Good."

"Of course not." It's familiar words, and yet now it stings Säde to say them after years of refusing to. But she tamps it down, squeezes tighter. "So you mustn't invoke them, mm?"

"Promise, promise." Piper put a finger to Sade's lips, then presses a fluttery kiss to her cheek.

The smile remains there a while as Säde kisses Piper's forehead before pushing her gently away, hands on her shoulders. "I really should be practising, Piper."

"... Can Piper watch?" Her expectant expression, her wide eyes... how can Sade say no?

...sigh. "If you're very sure and very quiet."

"Piper will be ever so quiet!" She zips her lips. Then tucks herself against Sade's side until they actually approach the training grounds. At that point, she'll skip off to a tree, climbing up and watching Sade from a high perch. She does love Sade so dearly.
