OOC: Healing Heart?

I've been considering the possibility of taking up a grouchy old surgeon in the Hearts suit for a second card. Is there any particular Hearts history for my gnome to be aware of, or for me to be aware of as I make him?

Currently, my ideas are centered around a bitter nudgenik who'd rather deal with stuffy noses and such than backstabbings--oy, does he kvetch about the backstabbings! It'd be a more humorous character than Isadore, but in some ways a sadder one. There'd be room for background ties--Elisha, for example, would have someone to speak Hebrew around, as Itzhak Operman came into my head as reminding me of a Jewish uncle of mine.

Isadore knows English and is learning Welsh. Adrien's offered to teach her French.

Itchy'll know English, Hebrew, Yiddish, and bits of Polish, German and Russian he picked up from his father.

(This...will be another character like Fran, in a way. Drawing deep from myself. He's part Uncle Eli, part Bobo, part my mother's Uncle Itchy who I don't remember...)

Oooh, I must totally get Dafydd to teach Anastasia Welsh. This girl knows Latin and ancient Greek, English, French, German and Spanish and she's always teaching herself smidgeons of other languages.

(Anastasia isn't much like me I think, apart from her mental issues, that are sort of an exaggerated version of mine.)

(Oh, not at all. I don't really mind talking about it. And it sort of is, yeah. I generally just don't like myself very much, have a lot of problems with anxiety and OCD:ish tendencies - better now with medication - and have concentration issues. So I tend to have a lot of fail going on, and that depresses the shit out of me.)

Well. Backstory like I have not much to offer, other than that he probably knows Athena since forever and might have dealt with whatever physical pains she inflicted on others. Yes, Athena was always a bit unpleasant, even as a kid. But it did go worse the longer she was away from the Hearts.
