[OTA] Casual Sketches

Elisha isn't in his office. He's not in his rooms, either, or his studio for that matter. If someone was looking for the King of Clubs, they'd have to go through all the usual suspects and some of the more unusual ones - the training rooms, the kitchens, the offices of the other Club Faces - before they came across him in a secluded corner of Club Castle's vast library. It's not the worst place to do paperwork. But he's not doing paperwork, of course. More...doodling. Faces instead of shapes, this time. There's one of Eileen, one of Hadyn, and maybe a few other random and not so random people. As like as not, they won't ever develop into anything more than this, but it's relaxing.

It gets his mind off everything else for a few moments, at least. At least, until someone finds his hiding place. Or, hey, maybe the library will sprout a picturesque cottage. Anything, apparently, is possible.

"If the world were ending, you know, you'd tell us the same thing." She pointed out, peaking a look at him. "Surprised so many have been taking it in stride and all. But I've been thinking about it. I mean....all this stuff is just appearing and the like- sort of like how the Arcana land just appeared and made room for itself, right?" She tipped her head a little, chewing a little.

"So it is sort of like...the two are just....running back into each other. Nothing's disappeared on our end yet, but what if it start doing that?"

If you didn't take it in stride, then you had to accept that you were really in deep shit. That they all were. Elisha preferred people were deciding to delude themselves.

"It...could be, I suppose." The Magician had certainly been sure that they were all fucked. "But I'd think that if there was a way for it to split in the first place, there would be a way to fix it now."

"Well, I am sure there is a way. But I'm not sure you're smart enough to figure it out. Cos I know I'm not. Like....a tree will sprout through my head before I can figure it out." But she shrugged a little too. Wasn't much they can do, really.

Maybe.

"So, how are things otherwise?"

"Honey, that's not a tree, that's a sign that you need to pick a new hair stylist." At any rate, he couldn't fix it right now.

Maybe he couldn't fix it at all, but he wasn't going to jump to that conclusion yet.

"They're...alright, I suppose. Hadyn's going away for a couple of weeks." Which Leona would be more pleased about than Elisha was.

"Oh, you're hi-lar-i-ous. Just bloody well crush a girl, will ya?" She sighed, though, shaking her head.

"Why's Hadyn going?" Look, be proud, she did use his name.

It's a banner day. Maybe it means she won't even make fun of the reason.

"Sort of a finding himself trip," he said. "You know. He's trying to figure out his life."
