[OTA] Business Not As Usual
Now that the snow's stopped, it's mostly just...like winter in London, really. Dreary, cold, gray. London never gets this much snow, of course, but otherwise it's a bit like home, and when Peter emerges from his hole in the basement of Diamond Castle, he's dressed for the weather in a wool peacoat, a scarf, and a hat over his hair. Add in the messenger bag draped over his shoulder, and it looks like he's dressed for a day of protecting the free world at Thames House.
He only wishes. At least what he's doing is interesting, or at least more so than fixing the internet connections of clueless Diamonds. Possibly it's even marginally dangerous, considering how the last Spade challenge went. He wouldn't have to do it, he thinks, if the Spades hadn't used quite so many ridiculous security protocols. It's legions more robust than any of the other Suits; he'd broken through the Clubs systems (well, most of them, the Royal files had a curiously complex system around them) and the Hearts, too, without much effort.
Bloody Spades.
It's not such a big deal, though. He's examined the system from every angle he can from outside it, and he's pretty sure it can be cracked if he's in it. So off to the Castle of blood and knives. If anyone asks, he can say he's visiting friends.
Might as well use his not terrible social interaction for good, after all.

"I, um, probably that's beyond me." Considering his embarrassing lack of experience, truthfully.

Hadyn then tipped his head a little, as his thumb some how found a way to barely brush over the other man's lips. They were, truthfully, rather kissable lips. "Are you sure you don't want to give it a go?" There was something almost sweet about his tone, not so much to be over done- but just enough to sound honest in his question.
In his offer. "A kiss isn't so beyond anyone is it?"
no subject
"I suppose you'll say that if you bite, I'll like it."
no subject
And still there was that hinted sweetness in his tone, cutting beneath a bit of amusement. "But sense we're on the subject? What do you like?"
no subject
So maybe action would be better than words in this case, and so he leaned forward to plant a fairly decent kiss on Hadyn's lips.
"Not a clue, darling. I just wing it most of the time."
no subject
"Maybe we'll find out just what is hiding in there some day, yeah?" He asked, catching Peter's shirt in one hand and pulling him closer. "But first...you should really try a proper kiss."
To which he returned Peter's kiss with a far less chaste one.
no subject
Unfortunately it came with being extra confused.
"That's a proper kiss?" he said in his most proper English accent. "You learn something every day."
no subject
And at least, if necessary, he could weather the resulting argument with some claim that it was all in the name of finding the truth. Then again, it might also have been because kissing someone else was a rather empty thing in Hadyn's opinion, when acting was involved.
no subject
"Can't give them too much of a show, can we? Might be even more questions that way."
no subject
Then again, Leona never said anything that was remotely posh.
"I suppose we can't." He agreed with a bit of humor. "But, practice does make perfect. You should keep that in mind."
no subject
"I'll be certain to start planting kisses on every spare person I see who doesn't move fast enough."
no subject
"Try not to get caught, princess."
