In Ur Garden; Up Ur Tree

 Sophie learned her lesson during the Arcana incursion. She'd spent far too much time buried in old tomes. On more than one occasion, she'd had to be carried to bed. So now, she paces herself. She gets the same amount done as she searches in vain for mentions of past magical failures--at least they have jumping off points--but she makes time to take the occasional break and clear her head.

That  still doesn't explain why the 8 of Diamonds is seen outside scrambling up trees.

"Oh, this is for a future project, just something to think about while my mind sorts through too many details and not enough facts on my current research. You're right. I'll need to get permission if I use a tree on the castle grounds. I think it will be alright so long as all the children here can play with it." Her brow furrows. Surely so. Times like these she truly misses Lindsey. But Silas liked children. It should work out fine.

"You caught me. I'm faking it. I've never so much as seen an actual tree house. Everything I know I learned off the internet."

Not the wisest idea, to put children in a structure built solely from internet-obtained knowledge a few feet above ground. They'd fall and crush their skulls on the protruding roots from the ground. It'd be a legal nightmare.

"I'm sure someone around here's built a treehouse before." Someone who had had 'a proper childhood' that entailed treehouses. Surely they weren't that hard to find.

"If you don't trust Google enough to risk a few kids' lives with it."

"No worries. Cadogan wants to help, and I'll ask Ben--he can build anything. I'll talk to people in the other Suits if we need more help. I only looked for design ideas."

"Best of luck then." He'd offer to help, but he had no expertise in the area, nor was he all that keen on getting his hands dirty with all this treehouse construction business.
