She's hiding. She's been hiding for a few days now. Of course, she's only hiding from a few people. Chances are, if you're looking for her, she'll let herself be found.

But an angry Piper isn't a happy Piper and a not-happy Piper isn't quite fit for bouncing around the Deck and popping into castles like a happy Piper is. Which is why these past couple days, she's more often up in trees or hiding in bushes or generally not in people's faces.

Which is okay. Right? Piper can take a couple days to be a confused, raw, displeased Felicia, can't she?

"'m fine, Felicia." It's strange, slipping back and forth with names. It's not strange to run a hand over her hair and give a slight tug. "An' be easier 'f you'd come inside, though."

"'Kay," she murmurs, letting herself be tugged wherever he wants. "Brother? ... Piper loves you."

That requires him actually Pausing a moment. Actually catching her chin so she'll look up at him.

"I love you."

Piper. Felicia. The missing piece of his Family.

She tries for a smile. "Felicia says she won't love you unless you give her ice cream. With sprinkles."

"And will you sit quietly?" he tsks, pulling her under his arm a little more and direct them back to the Castle Spades.

She thinks about that for a moment. Then- "Is 'mmmm!' the same as sitting quietly?"

"'f you can 'mmm' withou' bothering anyone, yes." Which was mostly a matter of tucking her into the right corner of the kitchen.

She mulls that over, then shrugs with a grin. "Piper will try her bestest, yes?"

[piqued]

His own 'hm' is soft, but absolutely touched at the corners with almost a smile.

Better. Best to have her back in his arms.
