[OTA] Hi-ho, Silver! (Watch out for the small dog)
This is not the sight she expected to greet her when she headed to Town with Sirona to settle her back in at the repaired Town stables, and somehow she hadn't been surprised to see her cousin (or last bastion of testosterone, as he liked to refer to himself) sitting on a fence post and laughing and snapping pictures. Probably she should have told him to get Collin out of the ring and stop harassing poor Christabel, who's supposed to be living a quiet retired life.
She decides instead to whack him lightly on the back of the head and take Sirona out on the trails, riding between the Castles and out towards the new oceanic addition before finally heading back into Town.

"Though, perhaps, Her Majesty would be displeased with it- considering the manner in which he slank off to begin with." He paused a moment, giving the horse in padlock a sidelong glance as it stood staring at the two of them. At times, he supposed, there was a certain uncanny resemblances in personality between owner and horse.
"I suspect there won't be much...fuss over his majesties return."

Then he whistled, a little more shrilly than was necessary, and hopped off the fence as Collin rushed him, moving to take Christabel back to her stall.
"She hasn't said as much," Zoe said, and she either missed or was ignoring the byplay as she glanced at Victor's very silent and still gelding before looking back at Victor again. "Of course, I doubt she would." Not to Zoe, at least. They weren't so close. "I think..." She added, a little hesitantly, "that Chives might be upset about it."
Though he hadn't said as much, either.

She looked over at Sirona, though, murmuring a stern word in Greek when the horse looked like she was about to toss her head and work herself loose from the post. Her hand curled in the bridle, and she glanced back at Victor, a glittering, sly look in her eyes.
"A shower sounds like a nice way to start," she said. "I'll be back out as soon as she's settled."

But when Zoe came back, they would walk together back to the castle and his geld would have to settle for treats that stable hands would sneak him before eventually getting him back into a stall- or set him out to field.
