Blame the Piskies? [OTA]

Going to the family dinner is usually a simple thing. She stops by after she gets off of work, helps her mother get things sorted in the kitchen, enjoys a nice home-cooked meal and mostly-enjoyable conversation, crashes on her brother's futon, and goes back home the next morning. No trouble at all, usually.

Except this time, it seems that one stubborn cat wandering about the Clubs Castle hallways seems absolutely set on not letting her leave the building, this morning. She's already almost tripped twice, and shooed it off many more times, but still the cursed creature insists on weaving about between her feet.

"Oh, for goodness' sake--!"

"I think he thinks everyone is a threat to his territory," she laughs and finally manages to catch the cat who's truly the King of Clubs. "He's just letting you know who's really the boss around here."

Because it obviously isn't any of the humans.

[ooc: Bah, HTML]

Since he's wriggling now to get loose, Elani will set his Majesty free again to saunter off in the direction of his Elisha's office. "I think he forgave you but you never know with cats, huh?" Dogs were easier but cats were easier to pick up.

"Oh, well, you know. Not bad? Kind of quiet since the swing dance." But she'd been finding ways to fill the time. Like working in more time to see Alasdair and remembering to take walks outside when being in the office for too long started making her twitchy.

"And you, Teresa?"

Elani beams, "thank you! I'm so glad it looks like everyone enjoyed themselves!"

And then she'll offer up a bit of a conspiratorial grin, "though would it be terrible to say I'm kind of glad it's over?"
