She makes a face. "Forget about liking the picture. I want to actually put one on."

"Then you should." He shrugs. "If you want the name of my tailor, he'd probably make one for you."

"Could you?" she asks, grinning. "Mom will screech like anything, but I'll ask Ishani to deal with her."

He leans over to pick up her message pad and a pen, and scribbles a name and address on it. "He's a Diamond, so snooty as hell," Jordan says, "buthe might like the challenge."

"I can deal with snootiness. I'm a rock star." She reaches a hand out to shake. "Thank you very much, Mr. Novak."

"You're quite welcome, Miss Rao." And after the handshake, he pulls out a sealed envelope from inside his pocket, and extends it. "If you could pass this to the Queen at her earliest convenience? I'd appreciate it."

"Absolutely. I'll give it to her promptly." She takes it and places it in a folder she retrieves from her large messenger bag.

"Thank you kindly," he says, giving her a salute before he turns to go. "Oh, good luck with the sari shopping."
