Pissy Heart is Pissy [Locked to Dafydd]
As ordered, she'd first gone to the Ten of Clubs suite and calmly requested, as ordered, that Anastasia return to Heart Castle to speak to the king, and then she'd departed, and after asking a Two for directions, found herself outside Dafydd's door. She'd done well with Anastasia and Elisha, keeping her anger at a slow simmer until she was finished speaking and had managed to leave without answering any questions. It was a different matter when she arrived at Dafydd's.
Her knock was hard and sharp, and she crossed her arms as she waited for the door to open.
After yesterday? This seriously took the cake. Maybe she should just move to Paris, at this rate.

"Zoë," he said with surprise. "What brings you here?"Then he took in her flushed, scowling face. "Are you all right?" he asked as he stepped back and let her in.

"Do you have anything to drink?"
no subject
He didn't bother to pour, just grabbed the bottle and two glasses. "There. Scotch, vampires. Anything else? I might have pizza in the freezer."

"Not a word of this leaves this room," she said after a pause, in a quieter voice. "And I don't want to hear any...any judgment about my decisions, either. Okay?"

She flicked her eyes at Dafydd and then stared at the tv again. "Particularly with Victor."
no subject
"What are you going to do about it?" he asked instead.

She huffed out a breath. "It wasn't really like Ceiro, so it might blow over anyway, but it still made me so angry."
no subject
It seemed eminently reasonable if the relationship was with Victor, but he'd be fair. She was upset, and while he didn't much like Victor, that wasn't true of everyone.

"I'll tell you one thing, though," she said. "I'm really glad now that we're leaving for my birthday tomorrow. I don't think I want to be home this weekend."

Plans could be changed easily enough.

Possibly at some point during the weekend, he'd find out why that would be a good idea.

"I...should probably head back," she added. "Especially since I'll need to actually pack for the morning."

It would be strange to go back to Paris after this long, but he was looking forward to it. "Bon nuit, Zoë."
