[OTA] candy is dandy... but tea fixes everything
With all the, well, all the everything that's been going on, Meera has been struggling to keep abreast of her duties. Her duties on paper consist of running errands and folding linens, but in reality they are so much more. She scoots sideways down the tea aisle of Raja's Bazar, worrying her thumbnail between her front teeth. Which kind is best suited for this situation? The former King's reappearance is of course the most pressing matter to Spade royalty, but Deck-wide crises such as the tower must be factored into account as well. Meera glares at the Chamomile first, then the Oolong. Then her eyes stray to the 'Sleepytime Blend'. For a moment, she wonders if a cup of that and a bath might not soothe her betters' nerves, but then there is a cartoon bear wearing a nightcap on the box...
In the end she settles on a grade of Oolong that she can afford with a small portion of barley tea in case caffeine is off the table. With her small parcel tucked safely in her satchel, Meera detours to the Green before heading back to Spade castle. Flopping onto her back, grass stains be damned, Meera takes a deep breath. It's not much, but she has accomplished something. She has bought tea, and tea can brighten any situation. And, well, perhaps when she offers the tea she'll be invited to have a heart-to-heart with the recipient.
[OOC: Feel free to catch her in the bazar or on the Green.]
