[OTA] You So Fine You Blow My Mind
There's a yoga studio in Diamond Castle, of course. Silas is a devotee, and that means that yoga has a higher profile than it did before he became King and she became Ace (and Jack, before that). She's not using it today, though. It's become the kind of place where people look for her.
So instead she's in one of the few remaining empty rooms in Diamond Castle, in Pincha Mayurasana. She's simultaneously singing, though, which is probably not the most zen-like thing to do. Especially when it's Mickey.
She probably doesn't care, though.

Yes. He wanted this. Or something to that effect.
He'll just. Take his five minute break leaning against the door frame watching her in bemusement, then.
no subject
Not exactly.
Who can blame her for singing the cheer anthem of the 1980s, really, before she slides into another pose and looks at him.
"Is the Castle falling around our ears yet?" She asks. It's a legitimate question. They both know this.

/Not yet. The Outposts aren't either. It's the intake that's troubling./
Because families at the Outposts weren't all solely content with coming to Town. And the Castle was only actually so big.
no subject
Which brought them to the real problem, of course.
"What do you think?"

/We need a vetting system for the rest. Qualifications for those who need to be nearest to medical bay, that sort of thing. Assistance finding or constructing closer housing./
Constructing was, unfortunately, key to the amount of influx they were having.

"And we have to be careful. Start restricting, and people might start panicking."

Their Ace was essentially standing on her head singing something rather obnoxious. Always one to socialize with the faces as much as possible, Wraidd paused and leaned against the doorway, laughing under her breath.
"I thought part of the point of Yoga was the zen of breathing and meditation?" she asked with a pleasant smile.
no subject
"On a diplomatic mission?" she asks as she shifts into a less advanced pose, one that allows for conversation. "The diplomatic corps has been spotty lately. Understandably."
no subject
"Trying to figure out how many are flooding into the Crystal Palace and to see if the Heart Castle can take any of the overflow... though it doesn't look like it. We're seeing about equal numbers sadly."

"As long as you're finding some much needed peace. We could all use some of that."

Though, really, at this point? What was normal.

I SAW THAT ICON.
I'M NOT SURE WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT
NOTHING AT ALL OF COURSE.

Both things, really.
"But doesn't all the blood rush to your head?"
She just might be enabled into giving it a try, Avery.

Because this particular pose wouldn't be a great place to start, no matter how flexible Elani was. Advanced yoga had to be worked up to.
no subject
It had been one of the things she'd wanted to try, but there were so many that only a few she actually kept up with.
Yoga was one of those that had gotten left on the wayside. Perhaps because, much like her brother, remaining still was...difficult.
"It's been a while."

Although, really, she isn't much of a singer at all.
no subject
Where lately was going on over a year, now.
no subject
"Does it help?"
The yoga. The singing. Trying to be cheerful. Either one.
no subject
Completely true, but perhaps...not something one ever expected to hear out of Avery Hamilton.
"Still, we go on, right?"
no subject
Rachel nods. "We go on. Use the things that make us less cheerful to make us stronger, instead."
A variation on an old, old saying, but still truthful nonetheless.
